Penza schoolchildren learned about a quiz on the knowledge of their native land

Specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library held an interactive quiz dedicated to the 360th anniversary of the foundation of the city of Penza. The event was attended by students of the gymnasium "SAN".

During the quiz "360° around Penza" the guys competed in knowledge of the history of their native land. Test tasks were also related to the names of prominent countrymen, famous sights and geographical characteristics of the region. In addition, schoolchildren solved puzzles based on images of paintings presented in the Savitsky Penza Regional Art Gallery.

As part of the event, young connoisseurs also demonstrated their creative abilities: they made drawings of famous monuments of the city of Penza and depicted characters in the fables of I. A. Krylov in skits.

One of the tasks of the contest was related to the search for information on the Presidential Library’s portal. The answers to the quiz questions were available in the collection of the Presidential Library Penza Region: Pages of History, which includes archival documents, essays, studies, statistical and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
