A library lesson held at the Tyumen Industrial University

On April 27, 2023 specialists from the library and publishing complex of the Tyumen Industrial Institute learned about the Presidential Library’s information resources.

The chief bibliographer of the branch of the Presidential Library in Tyumen Region Natalia Kuznetsova spoke about the current projects of the institution, focused on the Collection of Archival Documents, Film and Photo Materials World War II in Archival Documents and presented declassified materials of the digitized personal file of Yuri Gagarin.

The participants learned about the algorithm for searching for sources in the electronic reading room as well as the materials in the Presidential Library’s collections that can become an undoubted help in their work: history textbooks, a separate collection on geography, the basic collection Russian Language.

Of great interest to bibliographers was the information about the projects of the Presidential Library: the contest of pedagogical projects "The Future of the Fatherland in the Hands of a Teacher" and the contest of student works using the Presidential Library’s information resources.

The listeners came to the conclusion that the participation of students in the projects and events of the Presidential Library will contribute to the development of their educational and research activities.
