Tambov Region hosted the International Historical Campaign "Victory Dictation"

At the end of April, specialists of the Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library held a "Victory Dictation".

The Fifth Anniversary International Historical Campaign traditionally took place on the eve of May 9. More than 60 people tested their knowledge of the history of the Great Patriotic War. They are residents of Tambov Region, as well as employees of the military units of Tambov.

Ludmila Patrina, Deputy Director of the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library greeted the audience. Deputies of the Tambov Regional Duma Konstantin Cherkasov and Igor Telegin also addressed the participants with parting words.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Memory of the Great Victory. It contains official documents, photographs and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, testimonies of participants in combat battles and home front workers.

The Presidential Library’s portal also presents the collection Tambov Region: Pages of History. It includes research, statistical materials and archival documents that spotlight various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
