Issues of patriotic education of youth discussed at an expert meeting in Astana

The search movement as one of the areas of patriotic education of youth became the subject of an expert meeting organized by the Russian House in Astana at the press center of the Sputnik Kazakhstan news agency.

The event took place on the eve of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War and Defender of the Fatherland Day in Kazakhstan. The participants discussed issues of preserving the memory of the exploits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

Executive secretary of the All-Russian public movement to perpetuate the memory of those who died defending the Fatherland "Search Movement of Russia" Elena Tsunaeva, chairman of the board of the Kazakh public association "Atamnyn Amanaty" Murat Moldagaliev, coordinator of the search movement "Atamnyn Amanaty" Kamilla Zhakupova shared their experience.

The event provided the search engines of Russia and Kazakhstan for joint work in the implementation of educational youth projects and in the development of the military memorial direction in tourism.

The remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library opened in 2013 at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Astana today allows guests of the Russian House to learn about the whole variety of collections of the library's electronic holdings.
