The purpose of the additional agreement is to implement joint cultural and educational activities, including the integration of the Presidential Library’s educational projects into the programs and plans of educational organizations participating in the implementation of the MGIMO strategic project Russian International School. This project is being implemented within the framework of the state program Priority 2030 and is aimed at improving the accessibility and quality of Russian-language education abroad. Russian International School operates at all levels, including general, vocational and additional education. It is planned to provide remote access to the Presidential Library’s collections on the basis of educational organizations participating in the implementation of the MGIMO strategic project Russian International School.

The Presidential Library and MGIMO are actively developing cooperation. The agreement on long-term partnership was concluded at the end of January 2023.

Now, students and teachers of the educational institution have access to the entire collection of the Presidential Library, which currently contains over a million depositary items.

In addition, as part of a joint project, teachers of the Gorchakov Lyceum and library specialists are preparing video tutorials about World War II based on materials from the Presidential Library’s collections. A total of 28 video tutorials are planned.

The agreement between the Presidential Library and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations provides for the implementation of other educational projects to promote the historical and cultural heritage of Russia.
