The Presidential Library’s electronic collection “Republic of Buryatia: Pages of History” presented in Crimea

On June 21, 2023, the Regional Centre of the Presidential Library based on the Franko Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library hosted a presentation of the Presidential Library’s electronic collection dedicated to the history of Buryatia and the Buryat people – Republic of Buryatia: Pages of History.

The event, which was timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Republic of Buryatia, was attended by readers and guests of the library. They were told about the materials of the collection Republic of Buryatia: Pages of History, which includes scientific research, essays, compilations of documents, statistical publications of the 19th – 21st centuries, archival and cartographic materials of the 18th – 20th centuries and modern legislative documents covering various aspects of the region’s development in different historical periods.

The event ended with a sightseeing tour of the Franko Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library.

The Presidential Library’s portal also features the collection Republic of Crimea: Pages of History. It contains archival documents, research studies, essays, photographs and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the peninsula from ancient times to the early 20th century.
