New remote access center opened in the Chumlyak Recreation and Development Complex in Kurgan Region

The opportunity to study and deal with the Presidential Library’s resources was given to the children who come to educational scientific and creative shifts at the Chumlyak Recreation and Development Complex, located in the Shchuchansky district of Kurgan Region.

The opening of an access point to electronic resources coincided with the opening of a real library in Chumlyak. The children have a comfortable and pleasant space to relax, read and deal remotely with documents and archival materials of the Presidential Library.

The new remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library is the result of the joint work of the specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Yugov Kurgan Regional Scientific Library, the Department of Education and Science of Kurgan Region and the Government of Kurgan Region.

Specialists of the Kurgan Center of the Presidential Library agreed with the management of the Chumlyak complex to hold joint lessons and educational meetings using the Presidential Library’s electronic collections.

To date, the Presidential Library has opened more than 1,500 remote access centers in the Russian Federation. There are 49 remote access centers of the Presidential Library opened abroad in 33 countries. The centers are available at the Rossotrudnichestvo offices and national libraries.
