Materials from the Presidential Library’s collections presented at the educational event for children and youth in Cheboksary

On August 8, 2023, the Regional Center of the Presidential Library of the National Library of Chuvash Republic hosted an educational session for children and youth "Peter's Creations" based on the Presidential Library’s materials. The meeting was held as part of a series of events dedicated to the Day of the State Flag of the Russian Federation and the 30th anniversary of the country's electoral system.

The children examined the collection of the Presidential Library Peter I (1672-1725), which is dedicated to the personality and activities of the reformer tsar. It includes documentary prose of the 18th–19th centuries, writings by the first biographers of Peter the Great, and other interesting materials. In addition, they watched a video film Teachers of Peter I about the first 15 years of training of the future emperor, his life in Preobrazhensky, Izmailovo and the Moscow German settlement.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Numismatics. Russian Coins which includes books by famous Russian numismatists, archaeologists, historians and collectors. The works of scientists present images and rich descriptions of Russian coins.
