The Presidential Library and the Ministry of Professional Education and Employment of Primorye Territory develop cooperation

The Presidential Library, subordinate to the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, and the Ministry of Vocational Education and Employment of Primorye Territory entered into a cooperation agreement. The partnership will be aimed at spiritual, moral, civic and patriotic education, creating favorable conditions for the implementation of scientific, educational and cultural programs and projects.

The signing ceremony of the agreement took place on September 12, 2023 as part of the VIII Eastern Economic Forum. In the presence of the head of the Information and Communication Technologies Department of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, Sergei Grinevich, the document was signed by Director General of the Presidential Library, Yuri Nosov, and the Minister of Vocational Education and Employment of Primorye Territory, Sergei Dubovitsky.

Cooperation involves holding forums, workshops, round tables, master classes, exhibitions and other joint projects.

In addition, the Presidential Library and the Ministry of Professional Education and Employment of Primorye Territory agreed on cooperation in organizing practical training for students and joining forces in organizing library and information services for citizens. Cooperation is planned to improve the qualifications of library specialists in Primorye Territory.

The Presidential Library's collections, which volume exceeds a million depository items, digitally include books and periodicals, newsreels, photographs, scientific and educational films, abstracts of dissertations, archival documents and materials on the history of Russian statehood, theory and practice of law, as well as the Russian language as the state language of the Russian Federation. They are available from anywhere in the world on the institution’s portal. Access to the Presidential Library’s collections is provided through a network of remote access centers. To date, more than 1,500 remote electronic reading rooms have been opened in the Russian Federation.
