The Presidential Library attended the VIII Eastern Economic Forum
The Presidential Library, subordinate to the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, attended the VIII Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), which was held from September 10 to 13, 2023 in Vladivostok.
As part of the EEF, meetings were held between the management of the Presidential Library and representatives of government bodies and cultural institutions of the Far Eastern Federal District, and rectors of universities.
A significant event for the Presidential Library took place on September 11, 2023. At the key session of the VIII Eastern Economic Forum “Schoolchildren and Students. Together with the country”, the institution's Director General, Yuri Nosov, made a presentation of successful educational projects based on the information resources of the Presidential Library. Particular emphasis was placed on unified history textbooks, in which more than 15% of QR codes have links to the Presidential Library's documents.
Before the opening of the forum, as well as during the days of the forum, cooperation agreements were signed on the issues of preserving and popularizing the historical and cultural heritage of the Russian Federation.
Thus, on September 8, 2023, a new cooperation agreement was signed with Vladivostok State University, and on the same day - with the Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University.
On September 9, 2023, the Presidential Library entered into a cooperation agreement with the Arseniev State United Museum-Reserve of the History of Far East.
On September 10, 2023, a new open-ended agreement was signed and a cooperation plan for 2023–2024 with Pacific State University was approved.
On September 12, 2023, the Presidential Library entered into a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Vocational Education and Employment of Primorye Territory. On the same day, an agreement on cooperation was signed with the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of Far East of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as a plan of upcoming events for 2023–2025 was signed with the Ministry of Culture and Archives of the Primorsky Territory.
On September 13, 2023, the Presidential Library entered into a cooperation agreement with Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The head of the Information and Communication Technologies Department of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, Sergei Grinevich, joined the Presidential Library's events.
