The Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library presented the book exhibition “Legends will tell what we were like”

On October 27, 2023, on the eve of the 105th anniversary of the creation of the All-Union Leninist Communist Youth League, a presentation of the book exhibition “Legends will tell what we were like” took place at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library.

A specialist from the Regional Center of the Presidential Library also prepared a virtual exhibition on the collections of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library and the Presidential Library. The exhibition showcases materials from the collection of the Presidential Library Komsomol in the National History, which includes publications from the 1920s–40s dedicated to the history of the Komsomol, its goals and main activities, as well as periodical Komsomol prints from the period of the Great Patriotic War and visual materials from 1950–90's, which depict Komsomol members of various periods of national history.

In addition, the section of the exhibition Penza Electronic Library features full-text documents of this electronic exhibition.

The exhibition will run until December 2023.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, essays, studies, statistical and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
