Russia presented more than six hundred publications at the international book exhibition in Azerbaijan

The 9th Baku International Book Exhibition is taking place in Azerbaijan. The organizer is the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Azerbaijan. Russia became the guest of honor at the event. More than six hundred publications are presented at the Russian stand, organized by the Institute of Translation and the Russian House in Baku.

The opening ceremony of the Russian stand was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli, Deputy Director of the Department of State Support of Periodicals and Book Industry of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Yuri Pulya, Head Russian House in Baku Irek Zinnurov, General Director of the Central Scientific Library at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Aliyev Mamed.

The remote access center to Information Resources of the Presidential Library, opened in 2011 at the Russian House in Baku, provides the entire variety of collections of the library’s electronic holdings.

Guests of the Russian House in Baku can also learn about the materials on the history of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, which are available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia – Azerbaijan:  the History of Relations.
