Penza librarians learned to deal with digital library resources

Specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library held a training session on dealing with electronic library resources for specialists from specialized municipal institutions. Particular attention was paid to organizing events using digitized sources of the Presidential Library and issues of popularizing its collections. The training session took place as part of advanced training courses organized by the Regional Center for the Development of Education in the Field of Culture and Art of Penza Region.

It was noted that the annual Olympiad Russia in the Electronic World contributes to the popularization of the Presidential Library’s resources. At the workshop, a methodology for preparing quizzes and other events held in anticipation of this intellectual contest was proposed.

At the end of the training session, issues of organizing remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library in municipal libraries of the Penza region were discussed, which will allow visitors to institutions to learn about the entire variety of collections of the electronic holdings of the Presidential Library.
