A round table in Ryazan marking the 30th anniversary of the Russian Constitution

Specialists from the Regional Center of the Presidential Library and the Gorky Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library organized a round table “Peers of the Constitution”. The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Basic Law of the Russian Federation - the Constitution.

The round table was moderated by the director of the Gorky Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library, chairman of the Public Chamber of the Ryazan Region, Honored Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation Natalya Grishina.

According to the organizers, such events contribute to the development of patriotic consciousness and citizenship, help to learn more about the history of our country, its legislation, the role of the Constitution in strengthening the rule of law, protecting civil rights and freedoms, and forming the political, economic and social system of the country.

The Presidential Library’s portal features collection Constitution - Basic Law. It presents the texts of the constitutions of the Russian state of various historical eras - the first constitution of the RSFSR of 1918, three constitutions of the USSR (1924, 1936 and 1977), the constitutions of the RSFSR of 1925, 1937 and 1978, the current Constitution of the Russian Federation of 1993, as well as original texts and publications current constitutions of individual subjects of the Russian Federation.
