The Day of National Cultures held in Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)

On December 12, 2023 the National Library of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) based on the Remote Access Center of the Presidential Library and the A. E. Kulakovsky House of Friendship of Peoples held a lesson in interethnic communication “Ethnoworld of Yakutia”.

The event was dedicated to the Day of National Cultures of the Peoples of Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The decree establishing this holiday was signed by the head of the region, Aisen Nikolaev, on November 7, 2023. It should be noted that in Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) representatives of 135 nationalities currently live and work, for whom the Yakut land has become their native land.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Republic of Sakha (Yakutia): Pages of History. It includes studies, essays, reference and archival materials covering various aspects of the region's development in different historical periods.
