Interregional historical quiz in Khakassia marking the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege

Marking the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege, specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Domozhakov National Library prepared a historical quiz “Siege of Leningrad”.

The central venue for the event was the Domozhakov National Library which hosted 157 participants. These are senior pupils and students of secondary vocational educational institutions. The guys had to divide into teams and answer questions related to the military operations of the Leningrad Front, the history of the heroes of the Battle of Leningrad, and life in a besieged city.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Defene and Siege of Leningrad which contains memories of witnesses of those terrible days, as well as film and photo chronicles, official documents, materials from personal archives, periodicals and much more.
