A local history hour at the Birobidzhan Regional Center of the Presidential Library dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Jewish Autonomous Region

The Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Sholom Aleichem Birobidzhan Regional Universal Scientific Library held a local history hour “From the history of the creation and development of Jewish Autonomous Region”. The event was dedicated to the upcoming 90th anniversary of the autonomy.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Jewish Autonomous Region: Pages of History. It includes official documents, studies, essays, photographs and other materials covering various aspects of the history of the formation of the Jewish Autonomous Region in the period of the 20-30s of the 20th century and its development at the beginning of the 21st century.
