Chinese schoolchildren visited the Russian House in Beijing

Pupils from Chinese schools visited the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing. They were told about Russian culture, folk crafts, the main directions of arts and crafts, and traditional cuisine. The event took place with the organizational support of the Scientific Matrix company.

At the end of the tour, the schoolchildren discussed issues of concern to them with specialists from the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing. It is noted that more and more children from China are interested in obtaining higher education in Russia.

The remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library, opened in 2010 at the Russian House in Beijing, today provides the entire variety of collections of the library’s electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian Cultural Center will leaarn about the Russian Language collection from the institution’s electronic holdings. It includes more than 1,100 storage depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian writing, archives, research papers, dictionaries, reference books, teaching aids and much more.

Guests of the Russian House can also learn about materials about the history of relations between Russia and China, which are available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia – China: the History of Relations.
