A meeting with schoolchildren held at the Trans-Baikal Regional Center of the Presidential Library marking Diplomat's Day

On February 7, 2024 the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Pushkin Trans-Baikal Regional Universal Scientific Library held a round table “Guarding the interests of Russia”. The event was dedicated to Diplomat's Day.

The event participants were welcomed by the head of the Transbaikal Regional Center of the Presidential Library, Nadezhda Tangyt-ool. She presented thematic digital resources and spoke about the opportunities that working in the library’s electronic reading room opens up for users.

According to the organizers, the knowledge gained during the meeting can help senior pupils to choose a future profession.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Trans-Baikal Territory: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, studies, essays, reports, statistical data and other materials covering various aspects of the region’s development in the 19th – 21st centuries.
