The Crimean regional center of the Presidential Library holds the campaign “Warmed by the Crimean Spring”

From February 19 to March 5, 2024 the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library is holding a campaign “Warmed by the Crimean Spring” on the VKontakte social network. The event is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia and is held as part of the celebration of the Year of the Family.

The main goal of the campaign is to create knowledge about the native land, as well as to draw attention to the issues of preserving traditional family values and the significance of the reunification of Crimea with Russia.

Participants should publish family photographs on the social network VKontakte against the backdrop of recreation areas, parks, public gardens, children's playgrounds, sports grounds, clubs, and libraries that were renovated or built in Crimea between 2014 and 2024. After publication, one need to forward a completed application to the organizers’ email m.meresidi@crimealib.ru. Everyone over the age of 14 is invited to participate.

More detailed information about the conditions of the promotion and work requirements is available in the Regulations. Based on the results, all participants will receive personal certificates in electronic form.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Republic of Crimea: Pages of History. It contains archival documents, research, essays, photographs and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the peninsula from ancient times to the beginning of the 20th century.
