A workshop for library specialists held in the village of Mokshan, Penza Region

On February 29, 2024, the chief librarian of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library based on the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library, Olga Perepelkina held a workshop “Web quest: from idea to implementation” as part of an event for specialists of municipal libraries in the regional village of Mokshan.

The workshop participants learned about the technology of creating web quests and online quizzes, learned how to interest potential participants in a web quest, and where to find reliable information using electronic library search engines.

As part of the review of the collections of the Presidential Library, event participants were told how to make links to specific pages from digital sources from the Presidential Library's portal, which resources of the Penza Electronic Library to use when creating online events of a local history nature. Olga Perepelkina gave recommendations on the use of virtual tours and audiovisual materials in creating web quests and answered questions.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, essays, studies, statistical and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
