The event dedicated to the upcoming presidential elections of the Russian Federation held in Kurgan

On March 5, 2024, methodologist at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library Alexey Avdeenko played an unusual game for students of the industrial technical school - “IQ-Quiz”.

The quiz consisted of six rounds. The children solved puzzles, searched for words related to the elections, completed a task of matching pictures and texts, and answered test questions. In one of the rounds, students, using special QR-codes, used the materials of the Presidential Library's collection The Electoral System in Russia: the Past and the Present, where they looked for the correct answers.

In anticipation of the elections of the President of the Russian Federation, which will be held from March 15 to 17, 2024, the Presidential Library, together with the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, has prepared an online project “The President of the Russian Federation - the guarantor of human rights and freedoms” dedicated to the institution of presidential authority in our country and the activities of the head of state as a guarantor of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Kurgan Region: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, research, statistical and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
