A conference on developing relations in bilingual conditions held in Dushanbe

The Republican Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Ideas for the development of relations in bilingual conditions and international relations” was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The scientific forum was dedicated to the Year of Legal Education declared in Tajikistan.

The remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library opened in 2011 at the representative office of the Russian House in Dushanbe today provides the entire variety of collections of the library’s electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian House can learn about the Russian Language collection from the Presidential Library's holdings. It includes more than 1,100 depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian writing, archival documents, research papers, dictionaries, reference books, teaching aids and much more.

Guests of the Russian House can also learn about the collection of the Presidential Library Tajikistan: geography, ethnography, history. It includes geographical essays and ethnographic studies of the period when Tajikistan became part of the Russian Empire, as well as photographs and newsreel fragments dedicated to the Pamir expeditions of the 20-30s of the last century.
