Remote access center for the Presidential Library opened in Volga Region

On March 14, 2024, on the eve of the elections of the President of the Russian Federation, the remote access center of the Presidential Library was opened in the largest school in Volga Region - school №1 named after L. B. Ermin in Zasechnoe.

“The opening of the remote access center of the Presidential Library serves the cause of shaping the Russian civic identity of the younger generation”б - noted Olga Perepelkina, head of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library in her speech. She also expressed confidence that teachers would be able to integrate digital content into the teaching and educational process.

Specialists from the Lermontov Penza Regional Library also gave the audience a presentation of rare publications from the Presidential Library’s collections and spoke about collections dedicated to significant historical events, statesmen and Russian writers.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, essays, studies, statistical and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
