A course of lectures at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library dedicated to the traditions, life and mythology of the indigenous inhabitants of Altai

From February 1 to March 15, 2024, the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Shishkov Altai Regional Universal Scientific Library held the 15th course of lectures “Time Line. Heritage of Symbols” of the interregional cultural and educational project “Discover Altai”.

The course consisted of four lectures devoted to the study of the traditions, life and mythology of the indigenous inhabitants of Altai in retrospect of many thousands of years based on petroglyphs.

Video recordings of all lectures can be found on the website of the Altai Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. Ya. Shishkov in the section “Discover Altai”.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Altai Territory: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, research, essays, reviews, audiovisual and other materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
