Russian and Indian universities agreed on cooperation

26 March 2024

The signing of agreements of intent between the University of Mumbai, Moscow State University and the School of Innopractice took place on the historic campus of the University of Mumbai. The event was held with the assistance of the Russian House in Mumbai.

Higher education institutions have confirmed their intentions to hold student exchanges, joint research, and explore the possibility of introducing double degree programs. For its part, the School of Innopraktiki plans to create a lecture hall at the university, where online and offline Indian students will be able to listen to lectures by the best Russian teachers and participate in the School’s educational programs in the field of Russian language, history and culture, fine and applied arts, dance and music.

The remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library opened in 2023 at the Russian House in Mumbai today provides the entire variety of collections of the library’s electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian Center of Science and Culture can learn about the Russian Language collection from the institution’s electronic holdings. It includes more than 1,100 depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian writing, archives, research papers, dictionaries, reference books, teaching aids and much more.

A large number of materials on Russian-Indian relations are presented in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia – India: the History of Relations.
