The results of the Olympiad “Russia in the Electronic World” were summed up at the Presidential Library. This academic year, more than 3.5 thousand children joined the contest. Most of them are representatives of Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Kurgan, Kemerovo Regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra, Donetsk People's Republic, as well as foreign countries - Vietnam, Iran, Uzbekistan, Egypt, India, China, etc.
The Olympiad was traditionally held in the subjects “History”, “Social Studies”, “Russian Language” and “Russian as a Foreign Language”. The contest includes several stages. The final took place at the Presidential Library in St. Petersburg and at the institution’s remote electronic reading rooms in the regions of Russia and abroad. The Olympiad tasks were based, among other things, on the library’s electronic collections, which contain more than a million digitized copies of rare documents that make up the historical and cultural heritage of our country.
Based on the results of the individual contest, Timofey Popov (Tyumen Region) demonstrated the best knowledge of history.
First place in the Russian language was shared by Elizaveta Kudryavtseva (Tver Region), Ainura Mamedova (Tomsk Region) and Zhanna Semyonova (Tyumen Region).
Leaders in social studies are recognized as Yana Tiranova (Komi Republic), Varvara Zaitseva (Komi Republic), Lada Sverba (Kaluga Region), Egor Klikushin (Tyumen Region), Kristina Falkova (Tyumen Region), Alexey Shadrin (Tyumen Region) and Daria Filimonova (Penza Region). region).
The best in the subject “Russian as a Foreign Language” were Abdugoffur Kholikov (Uzbekistan), Bianka Drotarova (Slovakia), Abinayasri Chinnaiyan (India), Saravanan Sridhar (India), Divya Kosana (Ulyanovsk State University), Shan Supriya Palanikumar (India), Santoshimatha Prabakaran (India), Ye Maung (Bauman MSTU), Stiliyan Petrov (Bulgaria), Tue Linh Vi (Vietnam), Mai Ngoc Hoang Thi (Vietnam), Otkurbek Muktarov (Kyrgyzstan), Thuc Nien Luu Le (Vietnam ), Mirzo Ismoilzoda (Tajikistan).

It should be noted that during the entire existence of the interactive educational project - since 2010 - about 60,000 people tried their hand at it, many of whom subsequently entered leading universities of Russia.
The main objective of the contest is to introduce students to dealing with archival sources of information on the history, theory and practice of Russian statehood. The educational project is aimed at finding and supporting young talents and popularizing humanitarian knowledge among young people.
