Interregional round table dedicated to the First World War held in Khakassia

On April 4, 2024, the Department of History and the student scientific society “Heritage” of the Institute of History and Law of Katanov Khakass State University and the Domozhakov National Library with the information support of the Presidential Library held an interregional round table “The Last War of the Russian Empire ( 1914–1918)".

The results of the round table were the following proposals: to develop an interdepartmental program to perpetuate the memory of participants in the First World War in Republic of Khakassia and the south of Krasnoyarsk Territory; continue the process of popularizing the theme of the First World War in the region; publish electronically the reports presented at the round table.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection World War I (1914–1918). It includes research, journalism, official documents, archival materials (including a record of war heroes), leaflets and fiction. Particular attention in the collection is paid to memoirs and visual sources reflecting Russia's participation in the First World War.
