A virtual quest dedicated to the 215th anniversary of Nikolai Gogol held at the Tambov regional center of the Presidential Library

On April 2, 2024, the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library held a web quest - “On the Roads of Gogol”. The event was dedicated to the 215th anniversary of the great Russian writer, author of many works included in the golden collctions of world literature - Nikolai Gogol.

Using materials from the Presidential Library's collections, participants had to answer 20 questions related to the life and career of the writer. This allowed the competitors to learn more interesting facts about the personality of Nikolai Vasilyevich.

The winner of the intellectual contest was Margarita Zhigleeva from the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, who completed the quest tasks before anyone else. The organizers will send her a memorable gift by mail.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Nikolai Gogol (1809–1852). It includes digital copies of books, articles from periodicals, archival documents and visual materials that tell about the life and career of the writer as well as the texts of his works.
