Residents of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk joined the Presidential Library's quiz dedicated to space exploration

On April 11, 2024, the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Sakhalin Regional Universal Scientific Library organized the participation of residents of the region in the Presidential Library’s online quiz dedicated to space exploration. The event took place on the eve of World Aviation and Space Day.

The event was complemented by the electronic exhibition “The Sky Conquers the Brave” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin and World Aviation and Cosmonautics Day. The exhibition is based on rare historical materials from the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Outer Space, documents from the declassified personal record of Yuri Gagarin, as well as periodicals, books authored by the first cosmonaut, photographs and postcards.
