Director General of the Presidential Library elected Chairman of St. Petersburg Regional Branch of the Russian Military Historical Society

On May 21st, 2024, a general meeting of the St. Petersburg regional branch of the Russian public and state organization "Russian Military Historical Society" took place, during which a new chairman was elected. The new chairman is Yuri Nosov, the Director General of the Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation.

Also, a council of the St Petersburg Regional Branch was elected, including:

Yuri Nosov - Director General of the Presidential Library, the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation.

Alexander Malkevich - the First Deputy Chairman of the Commission for the Development of the Information Society, Mass Media and Communications of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. He is also an advisor to the Governor of St. Petersburg on matters related to new regions of the Russian Federation and the Chairman of the Board of the New Media Development Fund. Additionally, he is the Head of the Journalism and Media Communication Department at Kherson State University.

The members of the Board of the St. Petersburg Regional Branch of the Russian Public Organization "Russian Military-Historical Society" agreed to cooperate in organizing projects aimed at preserving historical memory. At the meeting, a new legal address for the presence of the branch was determined: 32 Basin Street, where the "Russia is my History" Historical Park is located.
