On June 6, 2024, Yuri Nosov, General Director of the Presidential Library under the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, met with Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina), at the XXVII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

Sergey Grinevich, Head of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation, also attended the meeting.

The relationship between the Presidential Library and Republika Srpska has been growing since 2017. At that time, an agreement on collaboration between the National and University Libraries in Republika Srpska and the Presidential Library was signed as part of the international conference "St. Petersburg and the Slavic World." In February 2018, a center for remote access to resources from the Presidential Library was established at the National and University Library in Republika Srpska, giving visitors and library workers the opportunity to explore all materials in the Presidential Library collection, which now totals more than one million depository items.

Yuri Nosov and Milorad Dodik discussed further cooperation on the implementation of joint cultural and educational projects. One such project could be a multimedia exhibition on the history of Russian-Serbian relations, based on materials from the Presidential Library's and the National and University Library of Republika Srpska's collections.

At the stand of St. Petersburg, Milorad learned about the electronic exhibition "Industry of the Besieged City" from the Presidential Library, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from Nazi Siege, which was prepared in advance of the 75th anniversary of World War II Victory. The materials from the electronic collections of the Presidential Library and documents from the State Memorial Museum of Defense and Siege of Leningrad, as well as from JSC Obukhov Plant, tell about the heroic labor of factories and plants working in the besieged city during those difficult years of war.The Presidential Library pays great attention to the development of international cooperation. It regularly opens remote access centers to its resources abroad - today, more than 60 such centers operate in 35 countries based on the representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo and national libraries.

Foreign partners take part in scientific, cultural, and educational events organized by the Presidential Library. Information resources are exchanged on an ongoing basis and joint projects are implemented. Electronic collections dedicated to Russia's relations with other countries have been created and are constantly updated on the portal of the Presidential Library.
