
A literary quiz dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin was held in the Crimean Regional Center of the Presidential Library
On June 6, 2024, a literary quiz dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin, the great Russian poet, novelist, playwright, and creator of the modern Russian literary language, took place at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, which is based on the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library. The participants were pupils from the summer camp "Academy of Summer Holidays", which is affiliated with the Kuznetsov Simferopol Lyceum No. 17 school.
In a team game, the students demonstrated their knowledge of fairy tales and familiarity with Pushkin's works. They also easily solved the riddles in the quiz and showed excellent knowledge of Russian in the "Words" game.
After the event, the participants went on a sightseeing tour of the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library.
The collection A. S. Pushkin (1799-1837) is available on the portal of the Presidential Library. It includes digital copies of books, articles, archival documents, abstracts of dissertations, videos, and other materials that tell about the life and work of the poet. Among them is a speech by Professor E. F. Karsky, delivered at a solemn ceremony at the Imperial Warsaw University on May 26, 1899, titled On the Influence of A. S. Pushkin's Poetic Activity on the Development of the Russian Literary Language.
