18 June 2024

One of the venues for the event was the Beijing BJ Expo Exhibition Complex, where Russia showcased exhibition spaces from its regions, concert performances, and art objects.

The business program for the festival brought together more than a thousand participants from Russia and China, who discussed issues related to economic and investment potential. They also explored joint projects in areas such as culture, economics, and education. During the event, eleven agreements worth approximately 2 billion rubles were signed.

A showcase of Russian creative brands was also featured at the festival, allowing guests of BJ Expo to experience both traditional artistic craftsmanship and contemporary visual art exhibits, which sparked increased interest among visitors.

During the event, residents of the Celestial Empire participated in master classes on making dolls from bast material and painting the beloved symbol of Russia - the Matryoshka doll. The main stage of the Beijing Exhibition Complex also hosted a screening of the documentary "Russia: 85 Adventures" produced by RT Documentary, allowing viewers to learn more about Russia.

Additionally, guests were treated to a grand gala concert in the open-air theater "Shijitan". The event was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo, the New City Center for Creative Industries, and the Russian House in Beijing in collaboration with the Beijing Exhibition Center.

The center for remote access to information resources of the Presidential Library, which was opened in 2010 at the Russian House in Beijing, allows visitors to explore the variety of collections in the electronic library's holdings.

The collection Russian Language from the library's electronic holdings is of particular interest to visitors to the Russian Cultural Center. This collection includes more than 1,100 rare archival documents, such as manuscripts, historical writings, archival records, scientific works, dictionaries, reference books, and textbooks.

In addition to the Russian Language collection, guests of the Russian House can explore materials about the historical relationship between Russia and China in the Presidential Library's electronic collection Russia - China: the History of Relations.
