The Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library summed up results of a web quest dedicated to A. Pushkin

The Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Lermontov Penza Regional Library has announced the results of their web quest Around the Sun of Russian Poetry. The quest began on June 6th and was dedicated to the 225th birthday of Alexander Pushkin, a great poet, novelist, playwright, and publicist who created the modern Russian literary language.

The quest's tasks were based on resources from the Presidential Library's collection and the Penza Electronic Library, as well as virtual tours of Mikhailovskoye and Trigorskoye Nature Reserves.

It should be noted that thanks to the informational support of the regional centers of the Presidential Library, participants from all over the country were able to join the event. A total of 130 people from Moscow, Leningrad, Omsk, Penza, Tomsk, Sakhalin, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Crimea, and Khakassia regions successfully completed the quiz and received relevant certificates.

Elena Chepova from the Republic of Khakassia and Elena Sazonova from Penza were the first to complete the tasks. The organizers have prepared prizes and certificates for them. Elena Sazonova has already received a book and a certificate from the Lermontov Penza Regional Library as a gift. The prizes will be sent to Elena Chepova via mail.

All fans of A. Pushkin can complete the web quest during 2024. The quiz materials will also be useful for teachers in the educational process.

Alexander Pushkin (1799-1837) collection is available on the Presidential Library portal. It contains digital copies of books, articles, archival documents, abstracts of dissertations, videos, images and other materials about the poet's life and works.
