Educational event "Healthy Mind in Healthy Body" held at Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library

The specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Lermontov Penza Regional Library, organized an educational event on a healthy lifestyle called "Healthy Mind in Healthy Body" for the students of the camp at Multidisciplinary Gymnasium №13.

The event started with a workout and dance warm-up outdoors. After that, the children did mental gymnastics and solved puzzles related to the theme that were selected from digitized materials. Some of the answers were gained due to the sources from the Presidential Library's collection.

Young guests were also informed that everyone can find books about disease prevention, a healthy lifestyle, and proper nutrition on the portals of the Presidential and National Electronic Libraries.

At the end of the event, the performers performed funny songs about a healthy lifestyle. These songs were introduced by the collection Collection of Great-Russian Couplets (1914), which is available on the Presidential Library's portal.

Another collection available on the portal is Penza Region: Pages of History. This collection includes archival documents, essays, research, statistics, and other materials that cover various aspects of the region's history from different periods.
