Film screening and theatrical quiz in Dushanbe dedicated to Bolshoi Theater
The staff of the Russian House in Dushanbe hosted a screening of the documentary film "Ticket to the Bolshoi: Life to Theater!" and a theatrical quiz "Bolshoi Theatre is 250!" at the "Russian Space" of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University.
After watching the film, participants answered questions about the architectural features of the Bolshoi Theater, its repertoire, opera and ballet stars, history, and current events.
One of the tasks was to identify the variety of tulips that are planted in front of the theater every year. Originally, they were bred by the Dutch breeder, Lefebvre, in honor of the Theater, so they are called "Bolshoi Theatre".
The Presidential Library's remote information resource center, which was opened in 2011 at the Russian House in Dushanbe, allows visitors to explore the various collections in the library's electronic collection.
