10 July 2024

On July 10, 2024, during a working meeting at the Human Rights House in Moscow, Tatyana Moskalkova, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, and Yuri Nosov, Director General of the Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, discussed issues related to preparing a new roadmap for their joint work.

Last year, within the framework of the All-Russian Coordinating Council of Human Rights Commissioners held from May 23 to 25 in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, a cooperation agreement between Moskalkova and Nosov was signed.

The document provides the replenishment of library systems of both parties with publications and specialized literature on the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms. It also envisages joint expert-analytical and research work and the implementation of educational projects, including those using digital technologies.

One of the outcomes of joint effort was the online project The President of the Russian Federation - Guarantor of Human Rights and Freedoms, which is dedicated to the institution of presidential power in our country and the role of the head of state as guarantor of human and civil rights.

This electronic resource includes information from digital collections such as Institute of Presidency in Russia, Presidential Chronicles, Constitution - Basic Law and materials provided by the Ombudsperson's Office.

Through this online project, users can access official documents, research papers, scientific and practical guides, photographs and videos related to the President's work.
