В Республике Алтай открылся шестой центр удалённого доступа к ресурсам Президентской библиотеки

In the Altai Republic, the grand opening of the Center for Remote Access to resources of the Presidential Library was held in the Adarov Altai Ondugay District Central Library.

The residents of the Ongdugy district now have access to a unique collection of electronic materials, which includes over a million depository items. They can not only study history from reliable sources but also participate in video lectures and other projects offered by the Presidential Library.

Yevgeny Martinyuk, Deputy Head of the Ongdoy District Administration, and Surkura Sarbasheva noted that the opening of this center was a significant event for the entire district and a result of successful cooperation with the Presidential Library.

Svetlana Suslova, the head of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Chevalkov National Library of the Republic of Altai, said: "We are opening the sixth remote access center to the resources of the Presidential Library in Altai Republic. Now, it has become possible to provide users with services at a qualitatively new level. The opening of the remote reading room will allow us to take a big step forward in improving work with users and expanding information and educational opportunities, primarily for young people. The remote reading room will play an important role in providing users with reliable sources of information, especially historical materials, which is essential nowadays."

The guests were also treated to musical performances by Kaichi storyteller Monune Taitykov and artist Baynur Khabarov.

Remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library is available on the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad. The library's collection includes electronic books and magazines, news reels, photographs, scientific and educational films, abstracts of dissertations, archival documents, and materials on the history of Russian statehood, the theory and practice of law, and Russian as the official language of the Russian Federation.
