The Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation is a partner of the international contest "Best Russian School Abroad" organized by the Center for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of Russia.

The Contest will be held from May 27 to December 11, 2024, with the aim of identifying, supporting, and encouraging the professional and creative potential of teaching teams and teachers who are involved in implementing measures to promote the best pedagogical practices for teaching Russian and learning it abroad.

The main goals of the Contest are:

- Identification and support of the best educational practices and methodological developments;
- Exchange of experience between teachers teaching Russian and using Russian in different countries;
- Stimulation of creative activity and innovative approaches to education;
- Encouragement of methodological work of teaching staff;
- Increase of the prestige of the teaching profession;
- Improvement of the form of sharing pedagogical experience.

The competition is divided into two categories: "Best Teacher of a Russian School" and "International Teacher". For more information, please visit the website "Best Russian School Abroad" at https://ruschoolcicedu.ru/.

The Presidential Library has been supporting the competition for several years. Last year, the Director General of the Presidential Library, Yuri Nosov, attended the award ceremony for the winners of the "Best Russian School Abroad - 2023" competition. As Yuri Nosov noted, "thanks to this competition, each participant has the opportunity to showcase their creative potential, share practical experience, and learn about pedagogical approaches in the fields of Russian language, culture, and science."

The Presidential Library is actively collaborating on various educational and cultural projects. These projects aim to create a unified information platform on the history of Russia's statehood, strengthen moral values among young people, preserve historical memory, and counteract historical misinformation.

An important milestone in the development of cooperation between the Presidential Library and the Ministry of Education of Russia was the signing of a cooperation agreement in May 2024 and the opening of remote access centers to the information resources of the Presidential Library at pedagogical universities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education. With the support of the State University of Education, the Presidential Library has launched a competition for pedagogical projects called The Future of the Fatherland in the Hands of a Teacher.
