Presidential Library's Olympiad "Russia in the Electronic World" presented to Simferopol teachers
On September 23rd, 2024, the annual interactive Olympiad Russia in the Electronic World was held at the site of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library, with the support of the Information and Methodological Center of Simferopol. The event was organized by the Presidential Library in cooperation with the National Research University Higher School of Economics. The participants were teachers of history from urban secondary schools.
The teachers were informed that the Olympiad will be held in three stages, each focusing on a different subject: history, social studies, and the Russian language. Registration for the first stage and completion of the tasks will be available from September 23 to December 2, 2024 on the official portal of the interactive educational project. The second stage will take place from December 20, 2024 to January 24, 2025, and the final stage will be held in person on March 18-20, 2025.
Students in grades 10 and 11, as well as those studying in secondary vocational arts programs, are invited to participate. Winners and medalists will receive diplomas, and participants with the best results may also earn additional points for admission to the Higher School of Economics, a national research university.
During the event, organizers invited children to try their hand at various disciplines or choose the one they understood best.
The collection Republic of Crimea: Pages of History is available on the Presidential Library portal. It containes archival documents, research papers, essays, photographs, and other materials that covered various aspects of the peninsula's history from ancient times to the early 20th century.
