Presidential Library takes part at Kursk Personality exhibition in Moscow

The Presidential Library participated in the grand opening of the photo exhibition Kursk Personality, organized by the editorial team of the magazine New Regions of Russia, together with the Russian Military Historical Society and the Moscow City Department of Culture.

The event was held on October 16, 2024, in Moscow, at the central avenue of Gogol Boulevard.

The exhibition featured 30 black and white photographs taken by Sergey Venyavsky, a Rostov-based documentary photographer and editor-in-chief of New Regions of Russia. The images were captured in August and September 2024 in the Kursk region, depicting the heroic deeds of volunteers, rescue workers from the Russian Emergency Ministry, medical professionals, government officials, religious leaders, and ordinary citizens. These individuals demonstrated courage and resilience in the face of adversity, refusing to give up despite the dangers they faced.
