Penza Regional Center of Presidential Library organized interregional intellectual tournament for schoolchildren

On October 16, 2024, specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library organized an interregional intellectual tournament for schoolchildren, timed to coincide with the start of the Presidential Library Olympiad Russia in the Electronic World.

Teams of Penza schools and children gathered at the sites of the Regional Centers of the Presidential Library in the Ryazan and Volgograd regions, as well as the Republics of Karelia and Komi, competed for the title of Smart and Clever.

The tasks were presented in the form of tests, crossword puzzles and images. One of the tours was dedicated to searching for information in the sources on the Presidential Library's portal. The students had to answer questions on history, social studies and the Russian language, as well as solve tasks from the archive of the Olympiad Russia in the electronic world.

The winners of the tournament were the guys from Syktyvkar. Among the Penza teams, the students of school No. 76 scored the most points.

During the event, the staff of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library told high school students about the dates and stages of the Olympiad Russia in the electronic world.

The collection Penza Region: Pages of History is available on the portal of the Presidential Library. It includes archival documents, essays, research, statistical and other materials covering various aspects of the region's development in different historical periods.
