Young specialists of St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office took oath in Presidential Library

On October 29, 2024, a solemn ceremony was held at the Presidential Library, which is subordinate to the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation. During this event, 22 young people took the Oath of Prosecutor's Office.

This ceremony holds a special meaning for each of the participants, symbolizing the beginning of their career in the prosecutor's office. It also represents their commitment to serving their country and the law with honor and pride, as well as their dedication to protecting the interests of society and upholding the rights of citizens with integrity.

At the opening of the event, Viktor Melnik, the Prosecutor of St. Petersburg, congratulated the young professionals and noted that, for three centuries, the prosecutor's office had been a stronghold of statehood, defending the rights and freedoms of citizens. He emphasized that prosecutors had always fulfilled their duties honestly and with integrity, and wished the new colleagues to continue this tradition with dignity.

Juliana Alekseeva, the head of the personnel department, and Feofil Kehiopulo, the chairman of the regional branch of the All-Russian Organization of Veterans and Pensioners, also congratulated the new recruits on taking the oath.

According to the established tradition, in order to promote state-patriotic education, a guided tour dedicated to the most significant anniversaries and current issues of the history of Russian statehood was organized for young employees after they took their oath of office at the Presidential Library.
