Lovers of wooden architecture from Nefteyugansk and Makeyevka learned materials of Presidential Library

The Nefteyugansk City Library, the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library based at Khanty-Mansiysk, and the Makeyevka Youth Library from the Donetsk People's Republic organized the Poem About a Tree creative laboratory.

This event brought together woodworking professionals and enthusiasts, including students, teachers, and masters of decorative and applied arts. Participants shared their experiences and techniques, discussing the features of working with various types of wood and the combination of different materials.

They also shared their sources of inspiration and presented works created by students from the Nefteyugansk School in support of those involved in a special military operation.

The thematic resources of the Presidential Library were also presented at the meeting. These include M. Zvantsev's book "House Carving" (1935) and N. N. Sobolev's album Russian Ornament: Stone, Wood, Ceramics, Iron, Wall Painting, Stuffing (1948). Other materials include the film Russia: Living Sources of the Soul and other resources.

Such events aimed at fostering creativity and the creative industries are being conducted between the Nefteyugansk City Library and Makeyevka Youth Library as part of a cooperation agreement in the cultural field. The electronic reading room of the Presidential Library serves as a connecting link.
