Visitors to the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library in Nefteyugansk, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Yugra, participated in an interactive lecture on journalism titled How to Find a Respondent for an Interview? The event was held through video conference with the Makeyevka Youth Library in the Donetsk People's Republic.

The lecture was organized as part of the departmental project The Local Genius by the Ministry of Culture of Russia. Participants included representatives from children's and student media centers, television studios, magazines, and specialized organizations for additional education in Nefteyugansk and Makeyevka.

The goal of the event was to develop the creative abilities of young people, promote the profession of journalism, and create new and interesting youth media projects.

The audience was particularly interested in learning about the history of journalism, based on materials from the Presidential Library. Participants were told about the publication of the first issue of the St. Petersburg newspaper, Vedomosti. Materials from the publication A Chronicle of the Russian Press, 1703-1900, which is available in the electronic reading room at the Presidential Library, were also presented.
