
Presidential Library takes part in the Military-Patriotic dictation
On November 18, 2024, the Presidential Library will be taking part in the third annual All-Russian military-patriotic educational campaign, Dictation on Military History. The event will be held at the Central Academic Theatre of the Russian Army in Moscow, which is the main venue for the event.
This project is organized by the Education and Methodology Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Youth "Avangard", with the support of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. The main goals of the campaign are to promote military-patriotic education, increase patriotism among citizens, and foster a positive attitude towards the cultural diversity and historical heritage of the multi-ethnic people of Russia.
Every citizen of the Russian Federation who is 14 years old or older can take part in the Military-Patriotic Dictation. The questions for the campaign are created by experts based on historical facts, documents, the biographies of famous people, and works of literature, visual arts, and music related to military themes.
Dictation in full-time format will be held for all regions of the Russian Federation on the same day - November 18, at 10:00 am.
One can take part in the online dictation from November 18 to December 8, 2024, from 12:00 to 20:00 Moscow time. To participate, please follow the link.
The winners will be announced on December 9 - the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland.
Since September 2023, the Presidential Library has been collaborating with the Educational and Methodological Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Youth "Avangard". Within the framework of the Day of Navy Knowledge conference, an agreement on cooperation was signed. The parties have agreed on joint efforts in the fields of civil and military-patriotic education for children and young people, as well as the promotion of military and other public services.
