The competition attracted teachers from educational organizations in the Russian Federation, educators from educational institutions, and specialists from information and library centers that conduct educational activities at their institutions, with at least one year of experience.

The qualifying stage of the competition took place from April 1st to August 5th, 2024, during which more than 620 entries were submitted from all over Russia.

The second stage of the competition, the semi-finals, was held from September 9th to September 30th, 2024, and involved the selection of three finalists in each category.

The third (final) stage of the pedagogical project competition took place from October 7 to November 5, 2024, and included reviewing the video recordings of approbations of competition projects submitted by finalists and determining winners. This event was attended by 21 participants (three people in each of seven nominations).

To evaluate the work of the final stage of the competition, a jury was formed. The jury included representatives from the Presidential Library, St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture, and the Russian Society Znaniye. Leading teachers from Russia also joined the jury.

The winners of the competition were determined based on the total number of points earned in all stages. When evaluating the projects, the jury took into account the reasonableness of using resources from the Presidential Library and how fully they were utilized. The decision of the jury was formalized in an official protocol.

The award ceremony for the winners of the competition will take place on December 9, 2024, at the Presidential Library in St. Petersburg (Senate Sq., 3). The winners will receive diplomas and the opportunity to publish their projects on the Presidential Library's portal. All participants who made it to the final stage and submitted their projects for evaluation are declared winners in the pedagogical project competition The Future of the Country in the Hands of Teachers.
