Delegation of Rossotrudnichestvo visited Vietnam

During the visit to Vietnam, the delegation of Rossotrudnichestvo headed by the head of the organization Yevgeny Primakov laid wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi and the Memorial to Fallen Heroes. The event was also attended by representatives of the Russian Embassy, headed by Gennady Bezdetko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

This ceremony opened the regional meeting of Rossotrudnichestvo representatives from the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, which is taking place in Hanoi from November 26 to 28, 2024.

The Russian delegation also visited the Relics Area of the Presidential Palace and met with the Deputy Director of the complex, Koo Thi Minh.

In addition, a meeting was held with representatives from the Union of Vietnamese Friendship Organizations and its chairman, Fan Anh Son. During the meeting, Yevgeny Primakov was presented with the Honorary Badge For Peace and Friendship between Nations. The Russian House in Hanoi also received a Certificate of Appreciation for its contributions to public diplomacy.

The parties discussed the possibility of holding a People's Dialogue Forum between Russia and Vietnam in 2025, as well as other joint projects.

These events contribute to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between our countries, serving as a solid foundation for friendship and understanding.

The electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, which opened in 2018 at the Russian House in Hanoi, allows visitors to explore the diverse collections of the library's holdings.

One of the collections that visitors to the Russian Science and Culture Center may find interesting is the Russian Language collection from the Presidential Library's electronic holdings. This collection contains more than 1,100 rare archival documents, including manuscripts, historical writings, archival files, scientific works, dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, and more.

Guests at the Russian House can also explore materials on the history of relations between Russia and Vietnam through the Presidential Library's online collection Russia – Vietnam: the History of Relations.
