On December 5, 2024, an all-Russian seminar-meeting was held in Moscow, titled The Potential of the Library System of the Russian Federation for Educational and Educational Activities of the Project No statute of limitations. The event was organized by Moscow State Pedagogical University and was part of the Ministry of Education's action plan for implementing educational and training activities under the 'Limitless Period' project for 2023-2024.

Representing the Presidential Library, Igor Solonko, Head of the Department for Scientific and Educational Work, attended the seminar. He presented on the topic Electronic Reading Rooms of the Presidential Library: Preparing Competitive Materials for Educational Events under the 'Without Limits' Project.

Special attention was paid to two projects of the Presidential Library: the World War II in Archival Documents Collection and the Memory of the Great Victory electronic collection, both dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. These projects are presented on the library's portal and can be accessed from anywhere in the world.

In accordance with the List of instructions for the implementation of the Address of the President of the Russian Federation to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation dated January 15, 2020, the organizers of the Collection of Digitized Archival Documents, Film and Photo Materials "World War II in Archival Documents" are the Federal Archival Agency (Rosarkhiv), the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation and the Presidential Library.

The Collection is carried out by Rosarkhiv and federal state archives with the participation of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, the state archives of Belarus and others

To date, the volume of the Collection is over 15 thousand materials: maps, diagrams, periodicals, photographs, newsreels for the period from January 1933 to December 1944.

The digital collection Memory of the Great Victory was founded in 2010 and has grown to include more than 24,000 materials. These materials include official documents, archival records, photos and news reels, wartime newspapers, historical research publications, propaganda materials and testimonies from participants in the battles and homefront workers. The collection is divided into sections that focus on different aspects of the war, such as combat operations, partisan activity, government-society relations, the anti-Hitler alliance, and the preservation of memory of the war.

In 2024, the collection added a new section titled Mass Crimes of the Nazis Against Soviet Citizens. This section aims to highlight the atrocities committed by the Nazi regime against Soviet citizens during the war and to preserve their memory. The collection continues to grow and expand, with more materials being added regularly.

During the formation of its collection, the Presidential Library worked closely with the main libraries in the regions of Russia, as well as libraries of higher education institutions, federal and departmental archives, and the Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signal Corps, among many other scientific and cultural institutions. Materials for the collection were also sourced from the national libraries of CIS countries.

The materials in the electronic collection Memory of the Great Victory and the collection World War II in Archival Documents are actively used in preparation and organization of various cultural, educational, and scientific events.
